Behavior Change Institute is premier provider of Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) treatment. They aim to inspire hope and improve the health and wellbeing of individuals. They facilitate, provide, and improve access to high-quality treatment options for individuals and families in rural and traditionally underserved communities. Services include ABA Services, Family Peer Support Services, support for Educators and the Military supports.

Bridges is a behavioral healthcare provider serving individuals with Autism. Clients can learn functional skills, such as social, communication, cognitive, and behavioral skills in their homes, in Bridges' ABA Center, therapists’ offices, schools, and communities. Individuals on the spectrum are supported with ABA, Behavior Therapy, and/or Speech Therapy. Their parents, caregivers, and families are supported through Parent Training and Family Guidance, and Individual and Family Counseling. Bridges' ABA Center provides children with individualized and group instruction, preparing them with classroom-readiness skills. A secure outdoor playground provides children with the physical movement and an indoor play area is offered for sensory and play activities. Autism Diagnostic Evaluations are also provided.

Aprendamos Intervention Team is a therapist-run organization that serves children and families’ needs through early intervention. Team services include speech-language, occupational, physical, and family therapists. A nurse, nutritionist, family services coordinators, developmental instructions, infant massage therapists, and pediatric specialists are also available. Mental health clinicians specializing in play therapy interventions, MDMR, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and more. The Autism program has 16 Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and about 50 Registered Behavior Therapists (RBT).

Sandia Neuropsychology offers assessment, treatment and forensic evaluations for children and adults. Neuropsychological evaluation can be very effective in the documentation of the effects of treatment on specific deficits over time. Comparisons made between evaluations can also help to clarify the progression and course of changes in cognitive functioning (i.e., improvement or decline), which can be of interest for certain disorders.

Comprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS) is available through this agency. Through the different professionals employed at this agency, this agency uses DBT, EMDR, CBT, and mindfulness in assisting clients. Comprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS) are available through High Desert Healing. This agency also has a YouTube channel that has guided meditations, relaxation exercises, and mindfulness videos.

It is The Community Lighthouse’s goal to promote a safe, caring, and confidential environment. A licensed clinician will do an assessment to make appropriate recommendations for treatment, and identify a highly personalized approach tailored to meet each client’s specific needs. There are a wide variety of experienced clinicians who can assist with common symptoms, such as healing trauma, relief from anxiety, reducing feelings of depression, and repairing relationships.

Provides Case Management, Individual and group counseling for youth dealing with behavioral health and substance use issues. This is a school based program funded by the City of Albuquerque’s Department of Family and Community Services working specifically with students at Kennedy Middle School. There are no outside referrals accepted for this program.

The Bernalillo County Community Engagement Team (CET) program, operated by Youth Development, Inc. provides services for individuals that are experiencing a crisis situation due to behavioral health or substance abuse issues. CET will accept referrals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist in stabilizing the client before the crisis escalates to the point the individual needs hospitalization or a higher level of care. Once a referral is made to CET, the Intake/MIS Manager or individual on call if an after hours referral will initiate contact with the potential client and begin the assessment of the situation and need for immediate care. A Peer Support Workers (PSW) will be assigned to meet with individuals and/or families in order to assist in stabilization. Referrals for longer term care will be made including behavioral health assessment and counseling.

The Center of Innovation for Behavioral Health and Wellbeing was created to address the pressing need to strengthen and expand children’s behavioral health services for families in New Mexico. The Center of Innovation is a key partner of the Children Youth and Families Department- Behavioral Health Services. The Center of Innovation has the following programs: NM High-Fidelity Wraparound, Nurtured Heart Approach, Family Peer Support, Youth Peer Support, Youth MOVE and Children's Law Institute.

BTA is a group of clinical psychologists offering individual and family psychotherapy. The providers are dedicated to providing quality clinical services and developing interventions to improve the delivery of behavioral health. The specialties of this agency are alcohol problems, anxiety disorders, chronic pain, fertility counseling, mood disorders and perinatal and postpartum adjustment. Dr. Reid Hester and Dr. William Campbell of the agency, are the co-founders of Checkup and Choices, a web-based intervention for alcohol and drug problems. This program is based on years of clinical research funded by the National Institutes of Health.

UNM Children's Psychiatric Center provides intensive behavioral health care for children and adolescents through age 17. Children benefit from personalized care that may include inpatient, residential or partial hospitalization (day) programs at the center, which includes a 35-bed cottage-style hospital and adolescent inpatient unit. The Children's Psychiatric Center is the only facility in New Mexico affiliated with an academic medical center, and they are the only center in the state that cares for children with serious emotional disturbances—regardless of a family's ability to pay.

CareLink NM Health Homes Program is an integrated health care service program for Medicaid behavioral health beneficiaries with a primary condition of Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and/or Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED). The CareLink NM Health Homes Program coordinates behavioral & physical health care with community services to improve quality of care.
